Course Description
This course introduces students to the skills, mindset, and knowledge required to succeed as an entrepreneur in a rapidly changing business environment. Students will explore what it means to think entrepreneurially by developing creativity, initiative, adaptability, and resilience. Throughout the course, students will examine the role of entrepreneurs in the economy, learn how to identify opportunities, assess risks, and make informed financial decisions. Using hands-on activities, business software, and digital tools, students will plan, develop, and refine entrepreneurial ideas and learn how to communicate and pitch them effectively to a target audience. The course also emphasizes project management skills, including goal setting, time management, collaboration, and networking, preparing students for future pathways in business, entrepreneurship, and the workplace.

Assessment
Students will be provided with numerous and varied opportunities to demonstrate the full extent of their achievement of the curriculum expectations, across all four categories of the Achievement Chart. Progress will be monitored on an on-going basis using a variety of assessment tools, including written work, formal testing, quizzes, teacher-student communication, discussion boards and chat rooms.
As required by the Ministry of Education, students will be assessed in the four areas of the achievement chart. The suggested breakdown for this course is as follows:
